Aloha Kaua!

You'd think that by living in beautiful Santa Cruz, California the Sawyers would have had their fill of the beach. Not so! We are gluttons for long stretches of white sand, the gentle crashing of aqua waves on the shore, and the taste of salt hanging in the breeze. It was no wonder then that for our belated honeymoon we decided to spend two weeks in exquisite Hawaii. Week one was spent on the quite north shore of Kaua'i in the little town of Ha'ena. This was the perfect place to get away from it all, but still have the comforts of home. A little studio cottage across the street from a deserted beach was all that we required. Week two found us back in our favorite Hawaiian town, Lanikai, Oahu. Lanikai is a Hawaiian version of Santa Cruz: beautiful beaches, locally owned stores, friendly people and a whole lot of charm. As always, we had a great time and can hardly wait to go back. Until then, we have our pictures remember our adventures by!
